As you can see, the lineup has a very pronounced, aggressive look indeed. The heat spreaders (or heats sinks as Corsair likes to call them) still look very nice in my opinion, but may be over the top for some who like a more sober look.

DDR2 memory has come a long way from its humble beginnings as just a few DRAM chips on a sliver of green PCB. Now, memory isnt memory unless it has extravagant cooling systems and reaches insane clock speeds.

Today we look at Corsairs TWIN2X2048-8888 high speed low latency DDR2 memory modules. Memory modules have to be rated at least PC8000 for us to consider them high performance - dont get me wrong, a low latency PC6400 module is still a good performer...
The Corsair TWIN2X2048-8888C4DF ended up meeting its claimed specifications, and in that, it lived up to the high standards I hold Corsair to after the excellent results Ive gotten in the past from their PC8500 and PC8000 modules. Will another manufa...

The Corsair Dominator memory modules already offer probably the best cooling solution we have seen on a DIMM before, but the designers at Corsair went a step further when an additional optional accessory. This 3-fan Dominator Airflow DIMM cooler can a...
The new Corsair Dominator memory modules are one of the most unique cooling solutions we have seen for system memory since the first heat spreaders were added many, many moons ago. The new heatsink technology is a step above anyone else can offer over...

WE DONT COVER MEMORY much here at TR—its largely a commodity product; performance doesnt vary between modules running at the same speed and timings; and true overclocking potential is difficult to quantify with a limited sample size. However, when w...
Corsairs Dominator TWIN2X2048-8888C4DF modules are pretty scarce online. Our own price search engine only turns up one retailer, and theyre out of stock. None of the usual suspects, including Newegg and ZipZoomFly have stock of the exotic models, eit...

The DDR2 memory market is a confusing area for many people right now. The fastest memory speed AMD and Intel officially support is DDR2-800, for some time the major manufacturers have been striving to release memory which far exceeds this...
OCZ One of the things we love about OCZ’s memory is that it looks phenomenal, the gold and platinum edition modules just ooze quality and the XTC heatspreaders which have been used for a while now add a real cool factor to the product. Looks clearly...
