DC S40 is a 4 mega pixel digital camera with 3X optical zoom with resolution up to 6 mega pixels by interpolation for crisp and sharp prints even at 10x12 sizes. Get the shot you want-of your friends or yourself. It also, uses a LTPS (low-temperature poly-silicon) LCD, conserving power and enhancing color depth and saturation. This 120,000-pixel LCD provides crisply detailed previews.

Smart focusing – Five-area focus

BenQ DC S40 can automatically detect the subject's position in five areas of the shot for precision focusing.

Three metering modes:

Spot, center-weighted and matrix metering modes are available, so you may have excellent results even with backlight.

Spot metering: to obtain the optimal lighting for the center of the shot
Center- weighted metering: to achieve the most appropriate brightness for the central area of the shot
Matrix metering: to achieve even lighting for panoramic shots

The exciting voice over photo featureThe exciting VOP (voice over photo) feature allows you to record 20 second voice memos over pictures—and allows you editing capabilities to get the audio to just the way you want it—and then e-mail the VOP to friends as well.
